Climate Change Studio — Fort Worth, TX
The Studio Built
for Recovery.
We're a contrast therapy studio in Fort Worth — private sauna suites, individual cold plunges, community cold plunge, and community sauna, designed for people who take their recovery seriously.
Our Story
Why we built this
Fort Worth didn't have a place like this. You could find a gym. You could find a spa. But there was nowhere to show up, get hot, get cold, and leave feeling fundamentally different — somewhere that took the science seriously without taking itself too seriously.
We built Climate Change Studio because contrast therapy changed the way we felt day-to-day — and we wanted to make that accessible to more people. Private suites for the solo sessions. Community spaces for the social ones. A setting that doesn't feel clinical, doesn't feel like a hotel amenity, and doesn't require a gym membership to access.
We're not a wellness trend. We're a tool. Come as often as it helps.
"Unless you are willing to experience new things, you'll never realize your full potential." — Wim Hof
The Studio
Four things under one roof
Private Traditional
Sauna Suites
Reserved private rooms for one to four people. Authentic Finnish dry heat in a quiet, undistracted space — whether you're coming solo, with a partner, or a small group. Sessions are booked for 60-minute windows.
Cold
Plunge
Four individual cold plunge units maintained between 48–55°F. Solo immersion, no wait, no crowd — just you and the cold. A few minutes here does more than you expect: circulation, mental clarity, stress resilience. Pair it with sauna for the full contrast protocol.
Community
Traditional Sauna
A traditional sauna built for shared experience. Seats around 15. Social without being crowded — the kind of space where you arrive solo and leave feeling connected. Good conversation tends to happen here.
Community
Cold Plunge
The Caldera by Nordsprings — a 10-person cold plunge on our side patio. Open-air immersion at scale, built for groups who want to take the plunge together. Pairs naturally with the community sauna for full contrast in a social setting.
Equipment Spotlight
The Caldera
by Nordsprings
We didn't settle for off-the-shelf. The Caldera is a solid wood barrel — precision cooperage, thermally modified hemlock, granite seating carved into three tiered spiral steps. It holds up to 10 people and runs from cold plunge (44°F) to hot soak (104°F). It's the centerpiece of our outdoor patio and one of the best arguments for showing up with friends.
Contrast therapy isn't a trend.
It's a tool.

How We Think
What we stand for
The science matters
Contrast therapy has decades of peer-reviewed research behind it. We're not in the business of overpromising — but we are in the business of giving you access to a practice with measurable, real physiological effects on cardiovascular health, mood, and recovery.
Private when you need it, communal when you want it
Some sessions you want silence and a locked door. Others, you want to be around people. We designed for both — private suites that are genuinely private, and community spaces that aren't awkward. You get to choose how social your recovery is.
No contracts, no gimmicks
Memberships cancel anytime. Punch cards don't expire in 30 days. Pricing is published and straightforward. We'd rather earn your return visit than lock you in to earn it.
Fort Worth first
We're a local studio, not a franchise. We made decisions about the space, the equipment, and the pricing with Fort Worth in mind — and we're answering our own phone when you call.
The People Behind It
Meet the team
Owner
Matt Haynes
I opened my first gym in 2018, and since then I've been immersed in growing the business and finding better ways to help people improve their health and fitness. Sauna has always been something I personally enjoyed when it was available in locker rooms, so initially I thought it would be cool to add a sauna and a cold plunge to the gym.
That idea completely evolved after I visited Sweat Scape in College Station and met with the owner to learn more about operating a sauna and cold plunge business. Much to my surprise, he hosted our meeting inside one of his private sauna suites, and we participated in his ritual: 20 minutes in the sauna followed by 3 minutes in the cold plunge, repeated for three rounds. It changed my perspective entirely.
Not only did I love the format of the meeting — redefining what a "business meeting" could look like — but I was blown away by how I felt afterward. It satisfied my addiction towards exercise and felt like I had trained hard without the physical wear and tear of a traditional workout. I left feeling amazing and convinced this needed to be more than just an add-on.
Climate Change will feature 6 private, traditional dry saunas that reach 190°+ Fahrenheit — not infrared. Real heat, high-temperature, performance-driven environments. We'll be one of the only facilities in Fort Worth offering this caliber of traditional sauna. I'm incredibly excited to bring this to Fort Worth — and selfishly, I can't wait to use it regularly myself.
